Armond Mayberry, known as Coach 1K, is the visionary founder of 1K University. With over five years of trading experience and over $1 million in prop funding secured, he’s proof that discipline, strategy, and mindset can change your life.

But his journey started like many others — with no roadmap, just a dream. Armond remembers showing his mother his trading videos and telling her, “This is going to be your retirement.” She trusted him, learned the game, and today she’s a skilled trader herself. He even passed the torch to his younger brother, who is already building his own path in the markets.

From teaching family to guiding hundreds of students, Armond’s mission has always been bigger than trading profits — it’s about freedom.
